Is success a result, an outcome, or is it a journey? Is it worth struggling for that one thing or does it make more sense to view our actions and our triumphs as parts of one journey? It’s definitely a journey.

This is what most people, including affiliate marketing folks, fail to recognize. Consistency, patience and the 3 success principles that I will talk to you about are what it’s all about.

Working in affiliate marketing, similar to all the other businesses out there, can give us a lot of insight about what are the causes and reasons for someone’s success or failure. I believe that the following principles are of great importance and should be taken seriously and implemented.

#1 The principle of intention

What do you want to achieve? What do you want to create and accomplish? How much money do you want to make? This principle states that your intention must be clear, measurable, and you must have it as a vision of what you want, not of what you don’t want. At a certain point, I decided that I wanted to crete an affiliate marketing training site that can provide value and make me money. So, I decided to map out and clearly lay out what I wanted and what had to be done.

#2 The principle of attention

This principle is the most important part of achieving anything. Once you have created your vision, you must live with it 24 hours a day. That means that your focus has to be upon the things that can bring you closer to your vision, and only on such things. Productive thinking, to sum it up. If I want my affiliate training site to work and be a success, I have to focus upon the things that will make that happen.

#3 The principle of giving

“It is one of the most beautiful compensations of this life that no man can sincerely try to help another without helping himself.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

I think this quote needs no further explanation.

These are the 3 key principles for success in any venture, and affiliate marketing can be very fun when approached with this perspective.

Your honor, I rest my case.
